Hello all,
I have a Buffet E-11 which I purchased new last year and I find that the
throat tones ( G through Bb) play sharp and the Altissimo F upwards are
playing flat. I'm currently using a generic crystal mouthpiece and the stock
barrel.
I don't suspect it's the mouthpiece because I've used it many times over the
years in tandem w/ a professional Selmer without similar intonation problems.
I would appreciate any helpful hints/suggestions (barrels, mouthpieces, etc )
from any other E-11 owners on the list or from anyone else that may have an
idea as to how to correct the intonation problem
I'm new to the list here so my apologies if this subject was previously
discussed.
