Driving in this morning I heard an astounding arrangement of Duke
Ellington's "Caravan" played by what I think was an orchestra directed
by Daniel Barenboim (is this possible?) with a clarinetist named Don
Byron soloing. The guy was plainly fabulous, as was the arrangement.
Is anyone familiar with this recording and/or the instrumentalist?

Ken, itching for a trip to Tower....
