How about doing the Mozart K622 Adagio and followup with Debussy's
The Girl with the Flaxen Hair. Both short, both sweet. It will give
you the chance to briefly (no pun intended) discuss the two as examples
of the "classic form" and impressionism. The Debussy is available from
Southern, David Hite's arrangement, ST727, $5.00 Good luck in
discouraging the singer.
