It has been discussed on this list at length many times, that the
instrument does not make the musician. Understandably, when one is
making an Eb purchase, normally it is to be used as a second instrument,
maybe third! No one wants to spend very much on one. This was exactly
my thinking last year when I purchased my first Eb. Notice I said first
Eb. It matters not,if I play a comlete concert or two measures, I could
not stand the sound and inconsistency of the cheaper Eb. I have had my
new Buffet for three months, and I thoroughly enjoy it.

It may not be neccesary to buy the most expensive one made, but don't
cut it to thin. I think you will be sorry.
