In a message dated 99-12-26 00:53:41 EST, you write:

<< When playing with players on R-13, I pretty
much know where the pitch will be. With other instruments that you don't
see as often, it takes more work to play in tune with them >>

Ok well as much as I want to be quick to reply to your comments, I will try
to understand what you are saying a little more. So you say it takes a bit
longer for you to adjust to someone playing something, like the vintage, that
is not the R-13? Ok well can you tell me, for my own knowledge, what the
difference is. Meaning what changes do you have to make to play next to a
clarinetist playing the vintage. Assuming that the clarinetist is 'playing in
tune with himself.'

<<if I played more chamber music than orchestral, it would be high on my
list to purchase.>>
Can you tell me why you consider the vintage a more chamber, than orchestral
instrument.
Thanks in advance.
