Dan,

Good outline. A couple of extensions you might like to consider.

1. "Next I want a second on mouthpiece measurements. What are they and what
do they do for the end product."
I read this as the physical measurements, and wondered if it was intended
to also encompass the design/shape of the mouthpiece as well eg. slope of
beak, angle of side-walls.

2. Informed comment on the claims that certain mouthpiece styles are
designed for, or better suited to, jazz, classical, etc. What makes them
so?

3. Perhaps coverage of the point made recently on the list about the need to
consider the relationship between mouthpiece and reed.
