Ed -- this must be your lucky day. Leblanc does make the Concerto with the
traditional (for Leblanc) "jump" side keys as the model 1189SL.

I've tried Concertos and Opuses (Opii?). They are nice horns. I don't
think they're nicer than the Buffet R13s that I already own, so I haven't
bought one -- assuming my wife would let me. If you are in the market for a
new horn, however, you should definitely try one. I for one won't argue
that you've wasted your money.

FWIW, my personal choice @-----. I had
an extended trial period with one -- I'm lucky to have a close friend that
owns a chain of music stores. It sounds just like the R13 (which IMHO is a
*very* good thing) and has a more even tempered scale, so as to be an easier
starting point for doing battle with the string section. Also, the
workmanship (including but not limited to key adjustment and really cool
Gore-Tex pads) was ultrawonderfulfantastic. (If Francois tweaked it, hats
off to him!) I'm not sure that I love it $2,000 more than the R13 I already
