Subj: [kl] sax/ clarinet embouchure problems.

I have just bought a new professional Yamaha Eb alto sax and
mouthpiece. Since then I have played it every day for at least 3hrs.
My problem is that I am primarily an orchestral clarinettist and now i
am biting the clarinet mouthpiece. I am also fatiguing much more
rapidly than ever before. I have been playing for 17 yrs so this is not
an old problem. HELP.
One more thing... I have been playing sax for many years also but not to
the standard that i am now playing (not so much practice or study of
technique) and this was always on the one old alto. Is this a
mouthpiece problem or something else? I find that this mouthpiece opens
my jaw up more than my old mouthpiece.
