I am a circular breathing machine! :)

Seriously, I use the technique all the time and find
it almost essential in certain pieces. The only
drawback is that you sometimes are not aware when
you're using it. It may not occur to you to stop and
breathe - since you can just simply circular breathe.
This could kill a musical phrase. For the most part,
taking a breath in the majority of music I've
encountered destroys phrases more than circular
breaths.
It's a great feeling to not worry about getting oxygen
to your brain so you don't pass out! Technical
mistakes usually happen when you need a breath.

In conclusion, circular breathing is a great
technique/tool for playing music on a wind instrument.
