I would be interested in some good music colleges too. I would like to major
in music ed. and I live in South Carolina in the US. If anyone has any
colleges that they know have a strong music ed program. My band director
went to USC and he says that's the place to go for music ed. but I still
want to look around a little. I'm not worried about in-state right now, but
nothing like across the united states. I would rather stay within an hour or
two from home. (that's not really much further than Georgia, North Carolina,
maybe Virginia or Florida.) But I need to start thinking about where to
apply. I only have one full year left. I'm going to Cannon Music camp at
Appalachian State Univ. this summer if any of you have heard of it before. I
went there last year and had a great time. My clarinet tutor was Dr. Lynn
Cholka from a florida college which the name of escapes me right now. If any
of you have any recomendations or any places to stay away from they would be
greatly appreciated.
