Lelia: this is just guessing, but if you have an 1897 Eb Buffet, it seems
most likely that the original mouthpiece would have been wood with the Buffet
logo. My point is that the broken mouthpiece seems likely to be a
replacement, so I wouldn't worry much about it. You've been given great
