When I started playing the clarinet, I had braces. I still have to wear
my retainer 4 nights a week. I always wore my retainers every night that
I had to (well I forgot a couple...but basically all the time).
I suggest you do what the orthodontist tells you, so you won't have to
spend lots more money later..
