Interesting. (Many years ago) both of my clarinet teachers played Buffets,
but both suggested I try others. I tried others and found I liked the
Selmer-Paris horns. I still have the same Bb/A set that I bought in 1962
-- I think -- and back then, I got both horns for a bit over $1200. I
don't know what they sell for now, but I'm sure it's a little more than
that. <g> If you can, try one. Nice "big", rich sound. Speak very nicely
over the entire range.
