Welcome to the list. Your tutor is wise. While the R-13 seems to be the
favorite, at least in the US, there ARE other choices, such as the Selmer
Paris line, Yamaha, and Leblanc, not to mention more obscure makes like
Patricola, Eaton, Rossi, etc., that seem to be getting good word-of-mouth
on this list. Try as many as you can, and chose the one that works best
for YOU.
