Conn 10M's are prized by many tenor players. Charles Lloyd
still uses his gold plated 10M (I believe he has two of them),
with an Otto Link hard rubber 7.

Another great sax is the King Super 20. Some of them have
Sterling silver bells and/or Sterling necks. King Zephyr's of
the same vintage are basically the same as the Super 20s, but
with different key work. I have a Selmer MkVI alto, but if I
want that Cannonball Adderley sound I use my King Zephyr. All of
these older saxes are going to be less comfortable to play than a
modern Selmer or similar sax, for most people, but some amazing
playing has come out of them, nonetheless. Please let us know
what you end up with!
