I'm looking for aids that can emulate a flat frequency

Why don't you contact the House Ear Institue here in Los Angeles. I believe
their number is:(213) 483-9930. They are one of the leading hearing research
facilities in the country. They have beautiful facilities (2 buildings,
each about 4-5 floors high). The House Ear Institute has also been
attending/sponsoring all the major [recording] industry conventions for
several years promoting safe listening/good in-ear monitors/hearing damage
help. That is where I am going to get my plugs on Tuesday. I am also
taking part in a big hearing study right now that is trying to develop
technologies that will improve the quality of hearing supplements in the
future. If anybody would know what is on the market and what is good, they
would.

The person doing the study is a musician himself and he has a real depth of
knowledge on specifically what we need to be able to hear. He even offered
to test my hearing for me when I get my plugs to find out exactly how flat
the frequency response is...
