I don't know about that - my nephews can be tough critics. About a
year and a half ago, I was visiting them. I had practiced one
night with the kids in the room. The next night, I excused myself
from dinner, saying that I was going to go practice. The kids all
asked if they could listen in, so I said yes. The youngest (about 4
at the time) turned to me and said "Me too! But Aunt Diane, don't
play the song you played last night, it was tooooo long" I'd like to
think that he didn't like the Uhl etude I was playing that night, but
I have my doubts.
