I don't know what the Alexander Technique is, but herbal tea is nice. I
just websearched Inderol, and it APPEARS to be a beta blocker prescribed
primarily for people with severe migraine headaches. It is problematic
for people with potential heart or BP problems. It is also problematic
for people being medicated for clinical depression.

IF inderol is a beta blocker, don't start screwing with it unless (1)
you see a doctor first and (2) see No. 1. I'm not kidding. Have
yourself medically evaluated and psychologically screened. Why?
Because if this stuff is or acts like a beta blocker, if you have ANY
predisposition to clinical depression, the med in regular doses will
produces the symptoms and behavior of Bipolar I depression. Again, I'm
not kidding and I'm not exaggerating. This happened to me in 1995. I
had in fact been bipolar for years and the only reason it ever got
diagnosed was because of going on a beta blocker for high blood
pressure: inside of six months I went nuts. The symptoms subsided over
a period of about five months, but I "settled" into cyclothymia which
has since metamorphosed into Bipolar II, a less severe but still
unpleasant illness for which I'm taking regular medication.

If inderol is a beta blocker...one mo' time...you'd be better off with
the herbal tea. Come to think of it, you'd be better off drinking a
pint of scotch before you perform:-).
