My eating techniques:
I refuse to eat anything heavy two hours before the concert because it
can cause me to bloat which can disrupt my diaphragm. However I also cannot
not eat before I play because my stomach growls and becomes painful which
can also disrupt my diaphragm. So what I do is eat something light, such as
a salad or chicken soup, at least TWO hours before I play. Also, I make
sure I brush my teeth, to avoid getting junk on the reed and your breath
smells better. (^_^)
