I don't know about a "partnership"...it's more likely Leblanc builds the
YCL-220 for Yamaha under some sort of production contract.

But I've been told on numerous occasions by sources who are regarded as
knowledgeable and reputable that the two instruments are *the same*...made
on the same line, to the same specs except for the logos.
