Can't comment on the Selmer...no experience with it. The other two,
however, are the *same* instrument, made on the same production line in
Elkhart...the only difference being the logo.

Either is a very good horn for a student model. Of course, each individual
sample will vary, also, so you need to try several of each to see which
suits you best. I wouldn't worry about the logo! The Vito at $150 less will
no doubt play exatly like its Japanese "logoed" twin.

Until I got my Selmer 33 a couple of years ago I played a Yamaha 220 very
successfuly for about four years. But don't expect any student horn to play
as smoothly as a pro model. There will be stuffy notes and other minor
annoyances but I think you will find the scale of both the YCL-220 and the
Vito 7166 to be quite acceptable.
