Dee D. Hays points out that Vandoren associates Whitemaster with Viennese sound.

Yes, Dee, that Vandoren lists the Blackmaster for "German" sound and White
master for "Viennese" sound. Apparently Vazquez associates both reeds with
the Viennese sound. I'm not sure I could tell them apart. He also extolls
the German or Viennese style mouthpieces and says to use them on a Boehm
system (R13) requires some adjustment in a french cut reed. He also asserts
the German/Viennese mps, Wurlitzer, Hammerschmidt, are best used with a
Hans Moenning barrel on the Oehler system. I don't know what system Ron
Vazquez plays (Washington-based US Navy band, I think) but he is strongly
influenced by the German instruments. His is a good, no-nonsense book and
a cut above the usual "How to Make Your Own Reeds" publication, most of
which should never have been written. For a young player to aspire to the
German/Viennese sound and obtain the Wurlitzer or Hammerschmidt clarinet
might be a practical thing, even considering the 6 month wait for a single
clarinet to be built and the buyer must take what he/she gets. As for
me, at my age, it will be a cold day you-know-where before I pay that price.
My R13 will do me just fine. Thanks for the post, Dee. Best wishes.
