I think it's a bad thing to practice until the embouchure is so fatigued
that you can't form it properly or control it. Beyond that point, you
aren't learning anything and you aren't properly developing muscles.

That point might be reached in a couple of hours, or in a few minutes for
a beginning player or one who has not been practicing regularly. Practice
until the muscles begin to get tired, then take a rest period, and then
practice some more. Over time, it is possible to build up to longer
periods of time.
