You may find you have to go to a harder reed on the Gigliotti - I
think it is a more closed mouthpiece than the 5RV (although I can't
remember the stats exactly right now and don't have them available
where I'm at). When I finally got the "right" reed strength (using
V12's) the blowing resistance _decreased_ (which I hadn't been
expecting - I was making the change because my tuning was flat and if
I heard my teacher at the time say "wow, that reed sounds soft" one
more time, I was going to go nuts).
