I recently bought a Gigglioti p 34 and the first thing i noticed was that it
was, to me, much narrower than the Vandoren 5rv Lyre that I had been
playing. I have been using V12s for some time, and they always worked well
on my 5rv Lyre, but I seem to have a harder time with my Gigglioti... is
this one of the "unusual set-ups"? I might add that part of the reason is
due to the fact that I'm using new reeds for the Gigglioti (I broke my old
one... I only use one at a time- I'm trying to fix that...). Does any
particular reed go well with a Gigglioti p 34? (I also use a bonade
ligature)
