I've seen a bunch of questions over the time I've been a Klarinet subscriber
about reed "death" usually, like Malia's question above, in the context of
some reed or other dying unexpectedly quickly. I've never seen a really
clear description of what this means. What happens to your reeds when they
"die" so soon?
