Rod,
When I first started ordering the Legeres, you could
order them directly from Guy Legere, and the
instructions were to send an email telling him what
cane reeds you're currently using, including the
brand, strength, thick blank or regular, if
applicable, French or German cut, as well as the
mouthpiece and ligature (I think) you use. Then he
would fill your order when he received your check,
based on your individual needs. At that time, you
could get the Legeres in 1/4 strengths, as well. You
might try emailing Guy with this information and
asking for his recommendation. You can send him an
email from his website, www.legere.com.
