G'day All,

Sorry if this has already been covered...but I've been away for a while.

I am just about to order a Legere reed from WW&BW. Two questions:

Should I get the same strength as my cane reeds? (every synthetic reed I
have tried has been very soft)

If I do get a 1/2 strength harder, and find it is too hard can they be
shaved down like cane reeds?
