The same reed will feel different on different mouthpieces.
Some people are sold on them, you need to decide for yourself.
They are good and worth a try.
The worse that could happen is you have a back up
reed for occasional use that will serve hundreds of hours
saving lots of money. Thats not so bad, and its all uphill
from there.

Personally I like his tenor reeds very very much. The clarinet reeds
are good, but I will rotate with my best cane. I did not purchase
a bass clarinet reed yet, although I tried a few.
