I tried approximately 8 at a convention booth, and found all slightly different.
In fact one of the clarinet #4 was slightly stiffer then one 4.25.
Guy admitted this can sometimes be the case.

Has anyone else noticed this?

I understand from him that the stiffness is controlled by altering
the mixture of the material, and this is difficult to control 100%.

Best synthetic reeds I've ever tried.
The tenor sax reeds are fantastic, primary reed.
I'm using the clarinet reeds as back ups.
Cheers
