Many people have asked about Clarinet Books and More carrying the Pamela
Weston books. I am very pleased to announce that they are now in stock.

The books are:
Clarinet Virtuosi of the Past
More Clarinet Virtuosi of the Past
Clarinet Virtuosi of Today
The Clarinettists Companion

Despite the similarity in names, the two books on clarinet virtuosi of the
past are quite different in structure. The original book contains chapter
length accounts of the careers of the most famous clarinetists of the
past. More Clarinet Virtuosi of the Past is really a reference book with
biographies that range from a single line to several pages. I estimate
there must be about 2,000 entries most about players from the 18th and
19th centuries. Some 20th century players are included (Thurston) but
other from around the same time (Kell) are not.

Clarinet Virtuosi of Today is based on interviews the author did with
living clarinetists in the 1980s. The Clarinettists Companion is intended
for clarinet teachers.
