Use MidiScan or SmartScore (both by Musitek) to convert the scan to a MIDI
(.MID) file, then import the MIDI file into Allegro. Musitek recommends
300-400 dpi. You will need to do a fair amount of touching up in MidiScan or
SmartScore before importing to Allegro. .MUS is a proprietary CODA format
and isn't produced by any other program I know of.
