Saw an Ivory Clarinet in W. Palm Beach. It is all Ivory in 3 pieces with the
barrel part of the upper joint; made in Philadelphia in the late 1800's? The
key are some type of combination of simple, boehm and are original. Has some
extra u shaped pieces that come with it are there function is unknown. The
owner of the shop plans to auction this instrument off some time in the
future. Was in a case with a metal mouthpiece. Extraordinary. He is talking
about $10,000. I have the name and address if interested.
