My understanding is that the bell bore is not supposed to be level with the
bore of the bottom section...this is similar to fraising of a tone hole since
in a sense the bell becomes the tone hole for B and low E. Before doing any
boring out of the bell without a plan in mind, it would be better to send it
to someone like Swiney or at least see what Buffet says about bell bore size.
