I only corkgrease corks. :)

There aren't any C#s in the piece I'm marching with, and I'm using a
different clarinet to march anyway, so I should be ok. :)

Another question, my marching clarinet's keys are kind of dull and old
looking (well it is an old clarinet so I guess that's why :)). Is there
anything I can do to shine it up a bit so it'll look spiffy in the
parade?

I don't know what the keys are made of, or even what kind/brand of
clarinet it is. It's wood, with the barrel sort of funny shaped. I guess
you could say it gets a teeny tiny bit bigger near the middle and the
bottom of it. Or at least it has a teensy little more of a 'bulge' than
any clarinet barrel I've ever seen. Never mind, I don't think I can
describe it right. :) The serial number on the clarinet is 5579, on the
top joint. I can't find any other marks on the instrument. Any ideas?

It used to be my mom's clarinet when she was in high school, but she has a
nagging suspicion it's not hers, because my dad surprised her by getting
new pads on it a few years ago and she thinks he accidently got the wrong
clarinet back.

Beth
