Just a guess here. When the player quits playing, does she lay the clarinet
across her lap or stand it on a peg? If she lays it across her lap, is she
careful to keep the tone holes up? There might be a chance that water is running
into the throat tone A key causing it to swell. If so, when it swells it might
be raising the overlying G# key and causing it to break seal. How much play does
she have between the A key and the adjusting screw?

If this is the problem, the A key could have a cork pad or a Valentino pad put
in. Neither type of pad swells when they get wet.
