Next time it happens at a rehearsal (when there are other clarinet players
around) try switching instruments (using your mouthpiece and the same reed)
instead of changing reeds. If the problem follows the mouthpiece, then it
isn't the horn. Otherwise, keep looking for a slightly damaged pad in the
throat area.
