Yes, you are right. A@-----. Just like when we are doing mathematic problems
we say that PI@-----., but actually PI=22/7 which the actual value of PI is
equal to 3.1415.......
For convenience and popular to most orchestras and bands we use A@-----. Still,
the tone may come out by 339.xx to 440.xx depends to the ears of Conductor or
the First Chair. Agree with that?
