I should have been a bit more precise about the sound I'm getting. It's not
really squeaky: instead, there's this nasty sort of "buzzy" sound,
irrespective again of the mpc I'm using. As far as the instrument itself,
no problem: I put a Vandoren B46 and 1.5 reed on the thing and it plays
wonderfully. Same with using 2, 2.5, and 3 reeds on various mouthpieces.
So I have to wonder about the Marca from the point of view of the buzzing I
get.
