Subj: [kl] Any interest in using the On-line Groves next year?

Since I just wrote a posting about the "big tomes":
Next year Groves will be going on-line on a subscription basis - it'll be
relatively expensive (a couple of hundred dollars a year) for personal use.
However, I can get a multi-user license and use Sneezy.Org as a portal - an
expensive proposition to be sure, but if I can spread it out I can drop the
per-person charge to about $15 US/person.

The on-line Groves will have a comprehensive search facility, sound clips,
pictures, and video - a multi-media kind of thing, larger in scope than the
printed version (which will come out about the same time - 3rd quarter next
year).

I know many of the readers here are already at institutes of higher learning
and have ready access to this great resource, but many of us don't (or, like
me, have to run down to the local library which never seems to be open when
I want a question answered).

Before I start negotiating a price with Groves - there's discounts if I
commit to purchasing the licenses before Dec 31 - I'd like to see if there'd
be enough interest to pursue this. If you'd be interested please drop a line
to groves@-----. This doesn't obligate you in any way - I just want to
get a count of interested parties.
