Patty Smith observed:

<<<My two five year old boys have blown into a Lyons clarinet, but primarily
they want to sing into the darned thing for a few seconds and then continue
what they do best - run all over hell's half acre.>>>

Two points:

First, you are lucky all they do is run around! My 2 year old son has a
little plastic toy trumpet (the clarinets were just too pointy). While he
does blow into it from time to time, his favorite activity is to hit his
baby sister with it. We won't be giving him a metal one any time soon . . .

Second -- golly, you have TWINS! Being an identical twin myself, I can
attest to the very strange, weird and wonderful relationship that your boys
have (and that most people will never comprehend). My brother and I
consider each other our "best enemy," and we can pretty much read each
other's mind. (Not that I believe in ESP, mind you -- I just KNOW what his
sick little mind is thinking when I'm around him.) You have my sympathy
indeed.
