Klarinet Archive - Posting 000593.txt from 1999/11
From: Oliver Seely <oliver@-----.EDU> Subj: [kl] Notation question Date: Mon, 15 Nov 1999 13:56:18 -0500
Sorry, I garbled my second paragraph. Corrected, the message ought
to read:
The 1828 Boufil duet I'm working on has several notational forms with
which I am not familiar. I've figured out most of them, but what is
rf (or rF)? Mezzo forte?
How about repeated vertical lines above sixteenth notes? Would you
use >, a dot or a > with a dot in it?
Many thanks,
Oliver
