Very good articles.

There was some question earlier about the purity of fifths.
I quote from the article:
"As each interval is adjusted flat, the beat rate must steadily increase
from .7 to 1.4 beats as the interval moves up the keyboard"
..........."The final fifth of the series ends back on C"

Up to 1.4 beats per second(84 beats per minute) is allot
Some technicians do go much closer to pure fifths though
(some taste here), especially on big pianos that can handle
it (with truer overtones) for concert hall.

Please note: This "stretch" will vary from technician to
technician slightly. Also the stretch curve of various models
of pianos as graphed in the articles will actually vary slightly
from piano to piano of the same model.
When "FAC" curves are generated by an accutuner they may
even vary slightly on the same piano season to season as the
soundboard has changed with humidity level.

As this relates to clarinet,
"tuning" gets us to pitch ,but its all ears from there.
