Thanks to Gabriel Blasberg for the Spanish terminology -- there are some
wonderful
sounding words there.

If you say boquilla, abrazadera, digitación, and especially zapatilla
you'll
always sound precocious! It makes English seem awfully prosaic.

I wonder if our perception of good tone is influenced by the terminalogy

we use and vise-versa. I'd rather be called brillante than oscuro any
day!
