For those of you who keep my email address in a drawer when you want to =
contact me in order to receive guilt for not doing something that you =
know that I know you should be doing, be aware that I have a new email =
address and it is below.

And it is nice to come back and read about De Peyer who is one of my =
most favorite players. I studied the Spohr octet with him (it is a =
magnificent piece in=20
my opinion) and he was wonderful to work with.

In addition I may have missed the whole discussion of the Berwald =
septet, but it also was one of my all time favorite pieces. I did a =
recital at Carnegie recital hall in which we played that, the Spohr =
octet, and the Beethoven 7tet. Some night.

Tony, in calling the Berwald, a masterpiece, is once again right on the =
money.

Off to New York tomorrow for the weekend and back on Monday.
