Betreff: [kl] De Peyer Style

I recently heard someone refer to a style of clarinet playin called teh De
Peyer style, and i was just wonderign what exactly this means. What
characterizes this style, is it a tonal thing or a stylistical thing or
what?
What other "styles" are theere just out of curiosity.
thanks
andy
