Partially true. The YCL-24 II clarinet is essentially a Vito with
different-shaped trill keys, but that model is long out of production.
Parts are mostly interchangeable. Also, for some time, but not currently,
the Vito saxophones were Yamaha YAS-23's with different lacquer and fixed
thumbhooks. I fondly refer to them as "Yamavitos."
