Subj: [kl] Is this when I increase strength?

From my recent postings on the list, you should know that I've been trying
out the Legere reed in strength three.

I've noticed that when start hitting anything above a G (all fingers on
left plus octave key), it has a tendency to be unstable when it comes to
holding the note. Is this because the reed is not stiff enough to support
this?

This only happens when I use my Gigglioti (sp?) mouthpiece, but not when I
use a LeBlanc mouthpiece I also own. The former does allow for much easier
playing than the latter.

So, is this when I just try a different strength? I've been pretty
satisfied with the tonal quality that the Legere has been giving me, and
for all intents and purposes, I'm sold. :)
