A little more on the "Plastic or Wood" question.

I had written about playing on a plastic clarinet for 23 years. Then I
purchased a wood. The plastic was an Evette Buffet (pretty top of the line
then for a plastic clarinet). The newer wood is a Buffet also. The plastic
is still playable and works fine, but, I can feel a big difference in how
quickly and smoothly the keys, etc., react when I play. And, the tone is
like night and day.
