Uh, that was my oboe-playing wife, who just smacked me. She has one of
these plastic Lorees, and in fact paid a $250 premium in order to get a
plastic top joint. After 3 very expensive, dead oboes, she gave up.

Hasn't regretted it one second. It plays EXACTLY the same as her wood one
did prior to the implosion. She'll never play wood again.

I've tried the Buffet Greenlines. Interesting, very heavy horn. I'd sure
like to try an R-13 made out of the same stuff Loree uses!
